In praise of
Lord Krishna and to rejoice the birth of Krishna, Gokulashtami
Celebrations are held for 8 days. The reason for Krishna's birth and the
deeds by him as an avatar are highlighted during this festival through
Pravachanam on Narayaneeyam and Bhagavatham. Japam, Homam and Abishekam
are performed as also the Laksharchana.|
